What’s changing?

Starting January 14, students will sign in to their school Chromebooks using ClassLink, plus the option to sign in with Google, if needed.

What does this mean for students?

Students will log in one time using ClassLink on their Chromebook. They will not need to log in again to access their apps! ClassLink will automatically open its learning tools and resources.

What’s staying the same?

Google tools (Google Classroom, Docs, etc.) are still available. Student apps, classes, and assignments remain unchanged. This only applies to school-issued Chromebooks, not personal devices.

Why is SCUSD making this change?

Reduce repeated logins for students. Improve account security.
