LA SCUOLA

The “Istituto Comprensivo Manzoni Radice” is situated in Puglia. It includes 3 kindergarten, 1 primary school and 1 middle school. It has got a mission: accompanying pupils in the path of formation and in the building and shaping of the European citizens, giving them the skills necessary for being the protagonists of their own knowledge. We have students between the ages of 3 and 14. There are also students with disabilities and/or special needs. In the PTOF (Italian acronym for three year of educational plan) draft have been defined some lines of action viable for all range of schools: implementing Italian, mathematics and music skills, focusing on learning to learn skill, without neglecting social and citizenship skills. 

Our school has undertaken a program aimed at raising awareness for the protection of environment path on the topics of environmental protection, for the conscious usage of resources and those actions that can change students behaviours and who are meant to do some good practices. Our school is awarded with 8 EQL from 2016/17th and gained 3 status of eTwinning school.
