The Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (ELO-P) is a state-funded program that provides free or reduced-cost expanded learning services for eligible students in grades TK through 6.
Through ELO-P, qualifying families may receive TKELP services at no cost.
Students may be eligible for ELO-P if they meet one or more of the following criteria:
Eligible for Free or Reduced-Price Meals
Identified as an English Learner (additional income documentation may be required for eligibility verification)
Experiencing foster care, homelessness, or transitional housing
Other qualifying circumstances as defined by the district
Eligibility is determined by the school district based on state and district guidelines.
Families interested in ELO-P support must complete the district’s eligibility and enrollment process.
To learn more about eligibility requirements and how to apply, please reach out to Jesse Torres at jtorres@scsdk8.org
Once eligibility is confirmed, approved services will be coordinated with the TKELP program.
