• Return a signed permission form to Guidance Office by the listed due date

Upcoming Information Sessions 

To attend an information session students must sign up the day before the session begins using the forms posted to their grade level google classroom. An appointment will be sent to the student on the morning of the information session through the pass system. Information sessions will be held in the guidance office.  These information sessions are available to 10th-12th grade students.

PSAT/NMSQT

11th graders who would like to take the PSAT/NMSQT need to complete the form posted to their google classroom by September 16, 2026

The test will be held at CHS on Wednesday October 14th 

The cost of the test is $18. Payment is due in guidance by Wednesday October 14th 

The standardized test is primarily used to qualify students for the National Merit Scholarship Program and provide a practice version of the SAT.

The goals of the merit program are to:

• Identify and honor academically talented U.S. high school students and encourage them to pursue rigorous college studies

• Provide professional services for corporations, company foundations, colleges and universities and other individuals and organizations that wish to sponsor scholarships for outstanding participants in the competition.

• Encourage the pursuit of academic excellence at all levels of education.
