Do Your Favorite Things

Sometimes the best thing we can do to experience more pleasant emotions starts with asking ourselves what activities bring us joy. This looks different for everyone depending on our interests and talents. You might want to listen to a great playlist, read a good book, soak in a bubble bath, listen to a podcast, bake, play a video game, or watch a movie/TV show.

While watching a good movie/TV show or unwinding by browsing social media and other websites can be relaxing, balance is important. Try to make a conscious effort to spend less time in front of a screen — television, tablet, computer and phoneincluding 30 minutes before bedtime.
