Equitana success

Equitana success

The Scoot Team headed off to Equitana, Melbourne, Australia during November. The event was the most successful Equitana to date! Our booth was next to the Barefoot Blacksmith, Scoot Stockist Andrew Bowe and Nicky Bowe. Thank you, Andrew and Nicky, for your terrific support and coordination in making this event such a success for Scoots! Scoot Boot took home the award for the new Scoot Enduro in the HORSE INNOVATION Category.

Delivery of your order

Delivery of your order

Everybody wants their orders delivered yesterday! You have customers waiting that you don't want to disappoint and your stock is getting low. Good news is that we want you to get your order as quickly as possible also.

We will usually start processing your order straight away and dispatch as soon as payment has been made. You can send in your receipt of payment if paying by bank transfer so we can make this process even quicker.

Who is responsible for the safety and security of your order?

Scoot Boot is responsible for getting your order to you safely and securely. But when does that responsibility end? It ends when you have taken delivery of the order. Delivery occurs either when your order is unloaded at your premises, or when you sign for the delivery of the order, whichever happens first. This is the case even if delivery is staggered over a period of time. Legal title to your order (and risk) passes on delivery.

What does passing of legal title and risk mean?

It means that you are responsible for anything that happens to your order once delivery has been made. You are responsible for keeping it safe and secure. Scoot Boot's responsibility for the safety and security of your order ends once it has been delivered to you.

If you want to know more about payment and delivery please go to the Scoot Boot Terms and Conditions on the stockist hub. The Terms are also available to you when you checkout after placing an order. The Terms contain all the information you need to know about invoicing, payment, delivery etc.

If you have any questions about payment and delivery of orders please contact us at stockist@scootboots.com

Our team wore newly embroidered tops and vests at Equitana; we know many of the wonderful stockists that approached us were very interested in them. So that you can also have the opportunity to wear branded clothing, we have now added the simple Scoot Boot logo and our Scoot horse logo to the Hub along with helpful tips and information for getting the best embroidery and printing results. Feel free to use these logos on any apparel you would like to wear in your business.

If you have any queries or concerns about the appropriate use of the Scoot Boot logo please see our Scoot Boot Trademark Agreement or email us at stockist@scootboots.com

Scoots in Houston parade!

Scoots in Houston parade!

The Houston Police Department recently worked hard to keep crowds safe during a parade celebrating the win of their professional baseball team, the Houston Astros, in the World Series championships. The police horses were scooted up to greet the excited crowds. Noisy, bustling situations can be a stressful environment for horses and riders. It takes tremendous training, care and communication between rider and horse. The Houston Police and their mounts should be very proud of their hard work and dedication to their city.

We’re happy to see more mounted police making the switch to barefoot and Scoot Boots.

Here are just a few who are using Scoot Boots for their mounted police:

  • Metro Nashville Park Police Mounted Patrol (they only have barefoot horses)

  • Victoria Australia, Mounted Police

  • Manchester New Hampshire, Mounted Police

If your local mounted police force is interested in transitioning to barefoot and Scoot Boots, please let us know. We are here to help.
