Next Day Completion

In September 2023, the New York Education Department (NYSED) published updated guidance regarding "Revised Procedure for Next-Day Completion of Testing for English Language Learners on Regents Examinations " announcing that principals may approve Next-Day Completion of a Regents exam for English Language Learners, and eligible former ELLs who have been granted an extended time accommodation, and are scheduled to participate in two or more Regents exams on the same day. 

As there are no other Regents exams schedule to be administered on June 23, 2025, Next-day completion will not be granted for the 2025 administration. 

Please note the updated start time of the exam. The NYCDOE World Language Checkpoint B exams will begin at 9:15 AM.

NOTE: Do not send Next Day Completion documentation for World Languages to NYSED. All World Langauge Next Day Completion forms must be sent to WLExams@schools.nyc.gov
