Next Day Completion

In September 2023, the New York Education Department (NYSED) published updated guidance regarding "Revised Procedure for Next-Day Completion of Testing for English Language Learners on Regents Examinations " announcing that principals may approve Next-Day Completion of a Regents exam for English Language Learners, and eligible former ELLs who have been granted an extended time accommodation, and are scheduled to participate in two or more Regents exams on the same day. 

On June 24, 2024, two exams are scheduled, Algebra II and NYC World Languages. Students who are eligible for Next Day Completion are eligible to take World Languages over two days if they are also taking the Algebra II on June 24. 

All Next Day Completion documents must be received by June 20, 2024.

NOTE: Do not send Next Day Completion documentation for World Languages to NYSED. All World Langauge Next Day Completion forms must be sent to WLExams@schools.nyc.gov
