Data Requirements

All districts who use the exam are required to submit data on student performance to the NYCDOE.  Districts are asked to submit their data as soon as scoring is completed and are required to submit it by August 29, 2025.  Districts who do not submit the required data will not be able to use the exam in future years.

The following data is required for the 2025 examS: 

# of students who test

# of students who pass the exam

# of students who achieving mastery (85% or above)

# of students failing the exam (< 65%)

A Google Sheet template will be provided for districts to use to submit their student data. Only the data noted above is to be submitted. We do not require students' personally identifying information.  Data should be submitted by a district representative; schools should not submit data individually.   

In future years, additional data may be required.  This may include student scores on specific sections or responses for specific items.
