Theater has a variety of fun. Whether you’re doing a play or working on something wholesome, there’s always something entertaining along the way. Take this year’s show, ✨Alice in Wonderland✨. If you were in this show, you know all of the things that we did: costume tryouts, mic checks (especially the “ABC 123” and “123 ABC” debate), line memorization (which took forever for all of us), and the finale/bows that somehow took 20 minutes instead of 10–15. Ahem.

The process is so weird, but it all comes together for a wonderful outcome. The stage crew was the magic behind the curtains, and they kept things running while still being pretty fun. Whether you want to play a role next year or lay low and help put the pieces together in stage crew, theater could be for you. Try it out next year...there’s always something that surprises you along the way!
