Resources for Students

As an educator or advocate for multilingual learners and immigrant students, your work affirms and empowers their ability to navigate school with a sense of purpose and belonging, as well as explore, prepare, and apply to postsecondary pathways. Each interaction you have with our students is an opportunity to unlock their potential and guide them toward a path that helps them manifest their dreams and aspirations. We hope you find these resources helpful as you support your students through a fulfilling high school journey and toward a future family-sustaining career.

Postsecondary Readiness Framework

Provide students the structure and space to learn more about themselves, understand their educational rights, and all the postsecondary pathways available to them. Introduce them to multiple careers and uplift multilingualism as an asset.
Co-create and document a plan that centers where your students are now with where they want to go next. Ensure students are provided equitable opportunities to prepare for a future and garner skills to be ready for a global society.
Support students in taking the appropriate steps to complete postsecondary applications and fund their future goals. Ensure every multilingual and immigrant student know that a postsecondary and family-sustaining financial future is possible.
