NYCPS is offering the Global Leaders Academy. This program is designed to expose high school multilingual and immigrant students to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs) while helping them develop their leadership, language, and other critical 21st century skills.
Students will visit Permanent Missions to learn how the UN SDGs are being addressed on the global stage and meet with global changemakers across diverse sectors. The program will conclude with students developing and pitching innovative solutions that address these SDGs to social impact leaders.

The Angelo Del Toro Puerto Rican/Hispanic Youth Leadership Institute (PRHYLI), is a transformative civic engagement program that empowers Hispanic students to become leaders in their communities. Through PRHYLI, students learn the about the legislative process through research, empowering them to advocate for the issues that matter most.
