A part of the Continuous Learning Fellowship program was to support the further development of teacher leaders at schools. In order to accomplish this, the leadership self-assessment tool was created. It was based on work which has best supported the CL work in schools, and best practices in leadership and managing change. The intention of this tool is to allow Fellows an opportunity to self-reflect on their own leadership to consider areas of strength they want to leverage as well as areas in which they would like to develop.
Based on the self-reflection tool, the leadership development toolkit shares resources around each of the leadership competencies. These resources can be used independently, or with colleagues, to develop leadership skills associated with continuous improvement work.
