Your DOE email account and password are your username and password for the Follett Destiny Discover online catalog, the MackinVIA app and the SORA app.
The Destiny Discover website allows you to search the entire Christopher Columbus Educational Campus Library collection. You can check out ebooks and digital audiobooks from the Destiny Discover website.
When searching keep in mind that you are seeing all materials, print, ebook and audiobook. To search only ebooks or audiobooks, be sure to change the format from All to Ebooks or Audiobooks.
Login to the app using your DOE username and password.

When logging in to the SORA app, your school is New York City Public Schools. Click on it to get to the next screen. Click on "Sign in using New York City Public Schools."

SORA is a product that is part of an Office of Library Services initiative. It has a ebooks that were purchased by the DOE, but also allows you to add the NY public libraries. Queens library allows you to check out books with your SORA log in, but to access the New York Public Library or Brooklyn Public Library, you will need to have a library card.
Sign into the MackinVIA by searching for Christopher Columbus Educational Campus, Bronx, NY.
Log in using your DOE username and password.
The MackinVIA app has 192 audiobooks and almost 43 ebooks. I will be adding more audiobooks to this collection, so please email me with any requests.

OpenEbooks is free to all students. Email Ms. Chrismore for a unique login code and pin.

Open Ebooks is an app that gives you access to hundreds of ebooks. You can check out 10 titles at a time. The books are multi-user, so you always have access to the titles you want. You need a code and pin for the High School Collection, but you can also request extra codes for family members, including the All Access code which has books from elementary to high school reading levels.
Simply click the logo above to learn about how to download the app. If you don't have a NYPL card, you can apply for one by clicking "Get a Library Card" at the top of the page.
When you login to the SimplyE app you will need to type in your library barcode number and the pin, which is usually the year you were born, unless you changed it.
