Coca-Cola Scholarship
The Coca-Cola Scholars Program scholarship is an achievement-based scholarship awarded to students in their final year of high school. Students are recognized for their capacity to lead and serve, as well as their commitment to making a significant impact on their schools and communities. With the 34th class in 2022, the Foundation has provided over 6,600 Coca-Cola Scholars with more than $78 million in educational support. 150 Coca-Cola Scholars are selected each year to receive this $20,000 scholarship.

If you are unsure about college or decided to pursue other options and are 18 years of age, or soon will be, consider a career with the City of New York. Advantages of working for the City of New York include paid leave, on the job training, good pay and benefits, and a retirement pension. In order to qualify for most city jobs an exam must be taken.
New York City has just released their exam dates for various positions (many of which do not require previous experience).

Scholarship Plus
The Scholarship Plus award is a scholarship and community for New York City students who have demonstrated academic achievement in the face of obstacles. Scholarship Plus offers such students a competitive four-year non-restrictive scholarship PLUS individualized, wraparound support. ELIGIBILITY: Current high school seniors who:
Attend public, parochial, or private schools in New York City
Have a GPA of 85% or higher
Family income less than $50,000
Must be a citizen or permanent resident of the United States
Willingness to engage with the Scholarship Plus community in events, workshops, and semester check-ins.
Preference will be given to students whose parents have not graduated from American four-year colleges or universities. Please see this flyer for additional information.

The Marcy Lab School
The Marcy Lab school is a non-profit, post-secondary school based in Brooklyn, NY. They offer a 12-month, full-time computer science program designed to prepare recent high school graduates from underrepresented backgrounds for full-time careers in software engineering.
After one year, Marcy Lab School graduates go on to earn an average salary of approximately $106,000 per year to write software for companies like Asana, Samsung, Spotify, and Squarespace. They are able to offer this opportunity to student's free-of-charge thanks to supporting from corporations and foundations such as JP Morgan Chase, Lyft, and Microsoft.
Their application for the spring semester is open! This Fellowship will run from March 7, 2022, thru March 17, 2023.
Eligibility criteria:
You must possess a high school diploma (or equivalent)
You are between the of ages 18 and 24
You do not possess a bachelor's degree or higher
You must be legally authorized to work in the United States
You are able to commit to one year of full-time study.

Lead or attend meetings with staff, parents, volunteers and community residents as needed to assist in program delivery and promotion of programs.

Latinas Promoviendo Comunidad/Lambda Pi Chi Sorority, Inc. works to empower women by providing a supportive network dedicated to their personal and professional advancement. Each year, as part of Lambda Pi Chi’s Proyecto H.A.C.E.R. (Hermanas Advancing Career and Educational Resources), the Sorority awards College Book Scholarships to outstanding young women or non-binary students graduating from high school who are highly motivated, and committed to community service, leadership, and academic excellence. Scholarship recipients receive a one-time award of $1,000 for first place, $500 for second place, or $250 for third place, to assist them in covering the costs of textbooks and school supplies for the first year of college.
