Nippon Designers School (NDS) is a creative school that has been established in Japan for more than 50 years. In 2020, Nippon Designers School Malaysia College (NDS Malaysia) was established with the intention to serve as a bridge between Malaysia and Japan.
NDS Malaysia is the only college where Malaysia students are able to receive real Japanese education in Malaysia. We will fully support and help those who aim to become creators in the creative arts industry, nurturing as many talents as we can.

Vision
To nurture professionals who have the ability to inte- grate many different cultures, innovate and bring change to the nation and the world’s design industry. Also, NDS build and manage the college strongly based on NDS school’s principles ‘Integrity’ ‘Fair’ ‘Respect’ and ‘Innovation’. Other than that, NDS wish to be the bridge that connects Malaysia and Japan. NDS will be the first Japanese college in Malaysia that will expand the world’s horizons through mutually communicating and understanding different cultures and values.
Mission
Our college’s mission is to nurture and provide high quality education to potential individuals who will con- tribute to society’s culture and trend building through their high creativity, innovation and critical thinking abilities.
Values & culture
The program’s aim is to nurture professionals in the creative industry that have high creativity and innovation through exceptional education. NDS sister school’s model has a good track record and successfully impart invaluable education and college experience to its students and has continued doing so for above 50 years. Therefore, NDS Malaysia plans to extend this legacy and contribute to Malaysia’s cultural development. With a curriculum that focuses on practical creative knowledge and skills, work-ready graduates will be nurtured and produced.
NDS Malaysia will act as a creative hub that will expand students’ horizon, develop their thoughts, creativity and innovative abilities and at the same time, encourages them to be creative, innovative, and brave in getting involved in entreprenuerial endevour to create original works that will shape Malaysia’s future creative society.
