Psychological/Neuropsychological Evaluations
Psychological and neuropsychological evaluations are evaluations by mental health professionals who specialize in the diagnosing and treating mental health conditions. Unlike psychiatrists, they generally are unable to prescribe medications. Psychologists have special training to administer and interpret psychological tests.

Day Treatment
Day treatment services are designed to meet the mental health needs of youth by offering a full-day or half-day program. Residential Mental Health Services
Residential treatment programs provide intensive help for youth with significant emotional and behavior problems. While receiving residential treatment, children temporarily live outside of their homes and in a facility where they can be supervised and monitored by trained staff.

Wisconsin Early Autism Project (WEAP): WEAP provides diagnosis and behavioral treatment for young children with autism.
Fraser: Fraser is located in the Twin Cities area and provides autism testing and evaluation along with behavioral and mental health treatment.
Community Mental Health Services
Comprehensive Community Services (CCS)
Comprehensive Community Services (CCS) is a recovery oriented program that assists individuals in designing a plan of mental health and/or substance abuse supports. CCS offers a variety of services based on identified needs such as social and coping skills training and peer support. Assistance also provided with arranging services such as counseling, therapy and day treatment programs. Individuals a mental health disorder or a substance abuse disorder and be in need of on-going, comprehensive services. Program is available to individuals on Medical Assistance
Health Care and Coverage for Children with Delays or Disabilities
WI Department of Health Services
Wisconsin has multiple programs available for children with delays or disabilities. The programs listed assist families in caring for their child at home and in the community. Families may be eligible for one or more programs based on their assessed need. More information about what each program provides, eligibility criteria, and how to apply.
Children’s Long Term Support Waiver
For families with a child with a disability who want and need help finding and paying for services needed outside of their child’s school day, to help make school life and home life as consistent as possible. Examples of allowable services include: Respite Support, Service Coordination, Home Modifications, Communication Aids, Adaptive Aids-Vehicle (van/vehicle lifts). Eligibility for the program is established by a comprehensive functional screening process. CLTS provides services to kids through the age of 21 with Developmental Disabilities, Physical Disabilities and Severe Emotional Disturbance. The child also has to be on a form of Medicaid to be eligible for CLTS.
Children’s Community Options Program (COP)
Children's COP is similar to CLTS, but the program is slightly more flexible in terms of types of services covered. Eligibility process is the same with the Functional Screen determining eligibility. The child does not need to be on a source of Medicaid to be eligible for Children's COP.
