Special Need Supports

The Simcoe County Early Intervention Services system provides young children with special needs and their families with a wide range of services and supports to help them develop to their fullest potential. We support the early identification and treatment of infants and young children with special needs up to six (6) years old, or those who may be at risk of experiencing barriers to development, who live in Simcoe County. Contact them if you have concerns about your child's:

  • Feeding and nutrition

  • Ability to learn

  • Hearing

  • Mobility and movement

  • Speech/Language/Communication

  • Attention

  • Vision

  • Behaviour/Social/Emotional interaction

  • Play

The cut off point for NEW referrals to Early Intervention is now July 31st. This means families will need to contact Simcoe County Resource Consultation Services by July 31, 2020 in order to receive service. For more information, families can call:
