Essential Elements Interactive is our digital companion to the popular band curriculum which allows for digital sheet music resources, tutorials, and student recording assignments!
Our Holy Cardinal Band students are able to easily submit recordings of their work which tracks their progress for the whole year!
All incoming 2021-22 6th, 7th, and 8th graders will be taking Middle School Band as this will be the middle school curriculum.
Students have been assigned CLARINET, TRUMPET, or FLUTE, and expected to provide their own instrument via rental with Strait Music Company located in South Austin
5th grade will be have major instrumental units, including guitars, ukuleles, recorders, drums, mixed percussion/keyboard, and choir. This will better prepare them in the future for 6th Grade Band Class.
Students all took a brief instrument interest' survey in consideration of student/family preference in the assignment of instrument parts

The monthly rental price includes instrument maintenance and all necessary parts of the instrument including the case. All students are required to purchase the ACCESSORY PACK which will have the essential cleaning tools and music stand for at home practice.

Starting the 2021-22 school year, we will be partnering with STRAIT MUSIC to outfit our middle school students with band instruments. You will be able to select from a preference list and create a quick shopping cart. Instrument rental, included instrumental protection coverage, and fee information will be provided (rentals are monthly with no annual contract).
