Health and Safety in Music:

There are several recommendations and procedures that will be in place in order to promote healthy music activities as suggested by NAfME.

   3. Student Personal School Supplies

   4. Primary Student Crafted Instruments

      • 1. • Student Crafted Instrument Projects: plastic egg shakers, paper roll kazoos, water bottle guiros, paper plate tambourines, etc.

   5. Elementary/Middle Student Instruments

      • Plastic Mixed Percussion: sanitize with wipe OR spray/towel

      • Wood Mixed Percussion: wash hands before and after use

      • String Instruments: sanitize strings and plastic parts only

      • Keyboard/Mallets: sanitize keys and mallets

      • Recorder Flute: Students assigned instrument or purchase own ($3.95 West Music) for virtual learning and will receive a folder with music for study with weekly performance evaluations.
