Reading (Not Read 180 students) - This week is Unit 6 Week 1. First of all, THE PACKET IS INCORRECT SO PITCH WEEK 3. We will do everything online!!!! First you will familiarize yourself with this week's vocabulary. Go to the Wonders site. You can access your RWW book here. Once you are on, click resources, then click Read/Writing Workshop, then go to pg 380-381 to see the vocabulary. Then read "Shipped Out"pgs 382-385. (You can read yourself or have the computer play it and you follow it:) Now go to google classroom and do the assignment today: "Unit 6 Week 1 vocabulary." Be sure to hit the "turn in" button.

Language Arts - This week will learn about adverbs. (We have talked about adverbs. They are words that modify verbs, adjectives, or other adverbs. They are -ly words that modify verbs, but they do more you will see.) Watch first about adverbs Watch second to practice Watch third to practice

spelling - List 26 are your words this week. If you lost the paper..find them here Spelling words. There is no pretest so you will need to practice all week because the final test will be Friday. Practice with a sibling or parent or grandparent today.

Math - Some of you are still struggling with the math site...watch this first today....

Then do the lesson.Today you will graph data. So go online to Go Math , watch the green lizard first in the "My Library" section for the lesson 9.3 then do L 9.3 homework I assigned to you in the "Things to do" section.

Religion - OK....so let's share some more love this week! We made our cards last week, so what I would like you to do today or one day this week, is to go outside with your sidewalk chalk and create masterpieces on sidewalks or driveways and share some love/hope/kindness with your neighborhoods or anyone that drives by it. If your parents allow, decorate with a message and pictures. If you have no chalk, then you could make a sign to hang showing love/kindness/hope for others to see. When you do this, please send me a picture of it!!!! I would love to share on the St. Charles Website if your parents allow me to. So when you send me your picture of your masterpieces, let me know. HAVE FUN!!!!! (I am giving you 2 days for this.)

Reading (Not Read 180 students) - Unit 6 Week 1. Start today by reviewing your vocabulary for the week. Unit 6 vocab here . Get out your big reading book and read " The Unbreakable Code" pgs. 430-443 or you can have the computer read it to you while you follow along at the Wonders site.

Language Arts - Remember we are learning about adverbs. Adverbs can tell how, when, where, or how often an action happens. Some adverbs tell how much or how intensely. They are words that modverbs, adjectives, or other adverbs. Let's learn about relative adverbs: where, when, why. Watch this video and then practice with this one.

Math - Today you are going to review adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing fractions. I want you to go to IXL website and practice all of these. (Do these: Under letter L do #6 and #9; Under letter M do #19; Under letter N do #9. Of course you can practice any more.) Ok...IXL was supposed to be free during this pandemic .....So I just set up your username and password for this site. I will email it to you. Look for that email before noon today. You will be able to go to 5th grade math and do what I want you to do. You can practice on this site whenever you want!!!!
