Current Checklist
Identify the audience
Research & gather information and statistics
Select a slogan to hook the audience
Locate two quotes to use in your script (which we will begin on Wednesday)
Identify an emotion you want the audience to experience.
Locate existing Drug PSAs on YouTube for inspiration
Search Canva and/or Adobe Express for stock footage
Click through the video creation section of Canva and/or Adobe Express to familiarize yourself.
Write the script for your PSA scene by scene. Include the facts from your Fact Sheet in the script.
Decide what the viewer will see on screen.
Select backgrounds and filming locations.
Create Title Scene, "If you or someone you know needs help" Scene, & Credits Scene.
Film each scene requiring "actors" and upload to Adobe Express.
Record voice overs.
Add animations, text, images.
Add background music.
The Erdkinder Experience
Eighth-grade film students present their interpretation of what it is like to be an Erdkinder student at Charles Ellis Montessori Academy. The entire film was written and produced by the students during their nine-week exploration course.
Digital Marketing Winner
2021 & 2022
SCCPSS hosted a digital marketing contest during the Covid-19 Quarrantine years. Each school produced a video including school history, unique attributes, and heartfelt interviews of students and staff.
