As California prepares to transition from CELDT to the new English Language Proficiecny Assessments for California (ELPAC), this session provides the opportunity to consider the alignment of instruction, curriculum and assessment. We will examine the ELPAC blueprints and new test items that integrate the language domains, and also discuss implications for instruction. Staff from a local district participating in the field test of the ELPC will share their experiences in administering the new test.
