For Shivam, cricket is not just a sport, it’s an emotion. His passion on the field is second to none, and his philosophy is simple: “Never give up.”
Born and raised in India, Shivam represented Bengal at U19 level and quickly earned a reputation for his swing bowling with the new ball. His talent took him to England, where he was invited to play county cricket in London in 2015. Today, he channels that same drive into coaching, taking great pride in passing on his knowledge to the next generation of cricketers at SCC and celebrating their success as his own.

2011 World Cup Final – “Dhoni finishes off in style… India lift the World Cup after 28 years!”
2022 T20 World Cup (India vs Pakistan) – “Kohli goes down the ground, Kohli goes out of the ground!”
Coaching Philosophy:
Cricket is built on discipline, teamwork, and mental strength. Shivam firmly believes there is no “I” in cricket – once you master the mental game, you’re always ahead of your opponent.
What He Loves About Coaching:
The greatest satisfaction comes from seeing young players develop their skills and perform with confidence in matches.
Most Memorable Performance:
Defending a modest total of 158 in a 40-over county match against Hutton CC, Shivam produced a fiery opening spell: 6 overs, 12 runs, 4 top-order wickets, plus a direct-hit run out from mid-on. Not only did his team win, but he also earned a special mention as an “Upcoming Talent.”
