To maintain a current record of members.
To provide the Executive Committee and Executive Board members with a membership roster, or membership information, upon request.
To maintain an active program for recruitment and retention of members.
To keep a written record of the activities conducted to maintain and increase membership.
To communicate, as necessary, concerning membership matters with CEC/CASE.
To keep the prospective and current members apprised of important issues.
Committee Chair
Dr. Wendy Hite has been a special education administrator for 20+ years, working in single school districts in rural and suburban settings, as well as leading a 6 district cooperative in Indiana. She is an active member of CASE, having served in officer positions at the state and national level. Wendy obtained her Bachelor's degree in Special Education from Indiana University, her Master's degree in Educational Leadership from Boston College, and her PhD in Educational Leadership from Indiana State University. Her dissertation topic was on school based mental health services. Wendy is a proud grandma of 2 children. Her experiences as a special education teacher, parent, coordinator, director, mentor, and grandparent have provided her with a comprehensive view of the special education experience. CASE has provided a wealth of support during Wendy's tenure and she encourages everyone to become a member.
