The duties of the Governmental Relations Committee shall be:

1. To keep abreast of the activities and procedures of the state and federal government legislative bodies and agencies that impact special education and notify the President, Executive Board, and/or the membership.

2. To provide legislators and agency personnel with information relative to issues concerning special education upon approval of the Executive Board

3. To respond to requests for information from legislators or agency representatives upon approval of the Executive Board
