Eve Bunting Author Study - For homework, read and annotate the typed text of Eve Bunting’s book Your Move. Then, in the Google Doc, "STUDENT - Your Move HW" that has been shared with you in your online writing folder, write a short paragraph that answers the following question:
How does the game of chess represent James’s choices, and how does an important decision he makes at the end of the
story show that he has changed?
Your paragraph should:
State a clear claim that answers the whole question.
Include two pieces of evidence from the text using these guidelines:
Use one piece of evidence that shows how chess represents the choices James faces in his life.
Use a second piece of evidence that shows how James responds to an important offer near the end of the story and how this response shows a change in him.
Explain each piece of evidence by:
Telling what happened in the story.
Explaining what it shows about James.
Explaining how it supports your claim.
