Writing

Fifth graders hone their writing skills by writing daily and across curriculum areas.  Specific fifth grade writing units meet the Next Generation ELA Learning Standards that were adopted in 2017 and include:

• Blog Writing

• Nonfiction Feature Articles

• Literary Essay

• Research-Based Argument Essay

• Poetry

• Comics
