In addition to Dance Classes the Dance Academy Students will be able to select additional Arts Courses which include Music, Theatre, and Visual Arts.

Arroyo Valley is very proud and excited to have the only high school dance program within the San Bernardino City Unified School District.

The Dance Program is designed to give students professional dance training and a strong foundation in ballet, modern, jazz, hip hop, contemporary, and commercial dance styles. Students will also learn the history and theory of dance, music, choreography, and performance. Dancers develop physical strength, self-expression, creativity, individuality, self-confidence, and a strong understanding and appreciation for the Arts.

The Dance Academy encourages students to grow as dancers and artists, providing them with techniques to use in their future roles as performers, choreographers, directors, producers, educators, or in any career/major they choose to pursue.
