Not all students come to adult education with a goal to transition to postsecondary education, or with a goal to enter the workforce. Many students, particularly in ESL classes, take adult education classes to better support their children in school, prepare to become a US Citizen, & engage more with their communities.
SBCAE prides itself to be a consortium serving the whole person, and seeks to guide students to resources that will help them advance their community goals. Our commitment to immigrant integration permeates our programs, services and culture. See the ALLIES Immigrant Integration Framework below to better understand how SBCAE serves adult learners holistically.
