www.211ca.org: 211 is a free information and referral service that connects people to health and human services in their community 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. They provide inform and referrals for rent and mortgage assistance, food and shelter, health care, job training, transportation, child care, and elder care. 211 is also an important gateway for connecting low and moderate-income families to Covered California (affordable health coverage), CalWorks (temporary assistance for needy families), CalFresh (food assistance), the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP), the federal and state Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) and more.

My Next Move (or the Spanish language version: Mi Proximo Paso), is an interactive tool for job seekers and students to learn more about their career options. My Next Move has tasks, skills, salary information, and more for over 900 different careers. Users can find careers through keyword search; by browsing industries that employ different types of workers; or through the O*NET Interest Profiler, a tool that offers personalized career suggestions based on a person's interests and level of work experience.
