校歌

2015年の創立90周年記念式典に際し、整理された資料の中に1925年ごろに作られたと思われる作者不明の校歌の歌詞が発見されました。この歌詞に『翼をください』など多くの名曲を作曲された村井邦彦氏に素晴らしい曲をつけていただきました。

編曲は村山晋一郎氏にお引き受けいただき、歌唱は以前お子様が当校に通われていたご縁で、現在日米で音楽活動を続けていらっしゃる八神純子氏にお願いしました。

While reviewing old school files for the 90th anniversary of JIS in 2015, staff discovered original lyrics for the school song from 1925 by an unknown author. A new song with the original lyrics was composed, arranged, and sung by notable Japanese musicians Kunihiko Murai, Shinichiro Murayama, and Junko Yagami, a parent of former JIS students.
