John Williams, recommended by Steven Spielberg, composed the iconic score for George Lucas' 1977 space epic film, Star Wars. The film's grand symphonic score includes the famous "Star Wars Theme", as well as the recognizable "Force Theme" and "Princess Leia's Theme". Both the movie and its score achieved immense success, with the soundtrack remaining the highest-grossing non-popular music recording of all time. For his outstanding work, John Williams received another Academy Award for Best Original Score.
