Substitute Help
Each day we offer our students 30 minutes of homework help, more if a student is in need. While homework is taking place the students without homework work on Journaling or reading. Miss. Amanda will work with our "Littles" on practicing site words weekly.
Session Three
Brainy Bunch Club is a fun and engaging math club where elementary students build confidence through games, puzzles, and hands-on challenges. Kids will explore math concepts like problem-solving, logic, and number sense in a playful, low-pressure environment that encourages teamwork and curiosity.
Students will learn to Ski or snowboard at Ragged Mountain Ski Resort.
Project Promise will offer snacks, enrichment activities when kids are cold and need a break, and late pick up.
The Book Builders club is focused on having children express creativity through writing. This club will be literacy focused. Through the different activities each week children will focus on important literacy skills. Skills they will work on include reading, writing, comprehension, and vocabulary building. Giving the students creativity in literacy can foster a love for reading and writing.
Zoom Zone will be a mix of fun games that involve movement, different exercises, and getting active. We will have a warm up every week which will be followed by a game or two that was widely enjoyed from Movement Madness. Students will gain at least 30 minutes of being active, while having fun and hopefully enjoying themselves.
We are lucky to have Miss. Tess join us while she is home on break. While she is home she is filling in for Miss. Sam and we got to have some Tess Time!
The Dance Enrichment Club gives students the opportunity to move, learn, and express themselves in a positive and energetic environment. Children will practice simple choreography and explore different styles of dance. This program supports physical fitness, creativity, and collaboration.
Each week the children will listen to different songs and sounds of each instrument. Then they will create their own by using the material we give them and then test them out. Each week the kids will hear songs to know the different types of instruments that goes with the instruments they will create that day
This week they made rain sticks. These make the most soothing sound.
The Elementary Book Club gives young readers a fun and welcoming space to explore stories together. Each week, students read a selected book and take part in a creative activity such as an art project or a set of engaging comprehension questions. The club helps build reading confidence, encourages imagination, and supports important literacy skills. It’s a great way for students to share ideas, make connections, and enjoy the magic of books with friends.
While listening to the book, students filled out a worksheet all about their 5 Senses.

Little Chefs Cooking Club is a fun and hands-on cooking club where elementary students learn to make simple, healthy recipes. Each week, students practice basic kitchen skills like measuring, mixing, and assembling while exploring new flavors and ingredients. The club builds confidence, encourages creativity, and teaches the importance of nutrition and following directions.
Students this week learned how to make Chop Suey. While it was "cooking" in the crockpot they learned how
to set a table and learned the rules around a respectful table.
Session Two
Discover the magic of math through exciting games, fun challenges, and brain-teasing activities that make learning numbers engaging and enjoyable for everyone! Students will work together to solve puzzles, compete in friendly math games, and explore new ways to think about numbers. Whether you love math or just want to try something new, Number Nuggets is the perfect place to have fun while learning!
Movement Madness is a fun and energetic club where students get moving through Zumba, yoga, and other creative exercises. Participants will build strength, flexibility, and coordination while enjoying music and movement games. This club is a great way to stay active, relieve stress, and have fun with friends!
Our kiddos get to do many different activities when it comes to Movement Madness. We have had Four Corners with workout stations, Sammi Circuit stations, Yoga and much more.

Awesome Art Club is a hands-on, creative space where students can try something new each week. With a different staff member leading a fun art activity every week, participants will explore painting, drawing, crafts, and more. Everyone gets to experiment, express themselves, and share their creations with friends.

Extreme Volcano Club is an exciting hands-on science club where students explore the power and science of volcanoes. Participants will create eruptions, build models, and experiment with chemical reactions to see how volcanoes form and behave. They’ll learn about geology, lava flow, and Earth's processes in a fun and interactive way. This club is perfect for students who love experiments, science, and a little bit of controlled chaos!

The building process takes a while and it can get very messy
We were able to show them an episode before to see if they would like it. This day talked about a Volcano erupting in Hawaii right now. It was really neat for them to see what it really looks like and how real people are dealing with it.

Session One
Autumn Art Club invites elementary students to celebrate the season through hands-on, creative projects inspired by fall themes like leaves, pumpkins, and forest animals. Each week, students will explore new art techniques using simple materials such as paint, paper, and natural elements. This club encourages creativity, fine motor development, and self-expression in a fun, seasonal setting.

Each week we work on Math skills while playing different games and working on different activities...sometimes they don't even know they are mathing!

Then they turned the shapes into Art!
Students worked together to make blocks into Halloween shapes.
Once a week our students have a STEAM challenge that they work together as a team to get through... This is a very student lead activity with staff only helping when needed.
Students had to work together as a group to build a structure that could hold apples.
The Kindergarten group got help from a staff member but all others had to work together.

CATCH Kids is a fun and engaging program designed to teach students the importance of making healthy choices through physical activity and nutrition education. Each session focuses on encouraging teamwork, movement, and lifelong healthy habits. Students participate in a variety of games and activities that keep them active while promoting cooperation and good sportsmanship.
Students learn to work together to pick up a messy room while the other side is trying to make their room messy. Such a fun game!
Students had a great time learning to be a good teamplayer.
Each student had a chance to blow their skull across the floor. If they won, they had to cheer on the students still trying to finish. Other students sat on the side giving positive cheering!

Thanksgiving BINGO Night~ November 2025
We had our Family BINGO Night. This was our math night for the year. We worked on Number recognition, listening skills and following directions. We also made it Thanksgiving Themed, where families won Side dish themed prizes.

Lights On Event~ October 2025
The Lights on Event is a Nation Wide Celebration showcasing what we do in OST for students and our communities.
We have partnered up with the TTCC for a fun STEM night for everyone.

Summer Time Fun...
This is our second year of offering Kindergarten Boot Camp at BES. This gives students a few mornings of practicing coming to school without the upper classes there. Here they focus on learning how to be a student and get to know the ins and outs of BES.
