The Project Promise Program at the Elementary Site offers students a variety of enriching academic, social, and recreational opportunities designed to support the whole child. Each day, students participate in skill-building activities, homework support, and Sustained Silent Reading (SSR). This year, we are expanding our focus by adding a dedicated Student Support component four days a week, providing students with additional opportunities to strengthen academic skills, receive homework assistance, and participate in social-emotional learning (SEL) activities that build confidence, relationships, and positive learning habits.
After completing their academic support time, students participate in engaging enrichment clubs that encourage creativity, curiosity, and hands-on learning. Some examples of the exciting clubs offered at the elementary site include Weird Science, Cooking, S.T.E.M. learning activities, Wonderful Words, Painting Club, and Camping Club. Club offerings rotate every six-seven weeks, allowing students to explore a wide variety of interests and experiences throughout the year.
Project Promise strives to support the curiosity and growth of a diverse community of learners by providing opportunities for inquiry-based learning, collaboration, and service projects. We believe our students are valuable and contributing members of our school and broader community, and we are committed to creating a safe, supportive environment where every student can learn, grow, and thrive.
