Reflection
Reflection
Reflection is a process by which the student continually reviews, observes, highlights, and questions their observations/experiences. This will often include a focus on setbacks, successes, completed research, feedback from mentors/teachers, and critical "lessons learned" in the ELO process. This process encourages complex learning and fosters individual growth.
Exactly "HOW" you complete your reflections will depend on you, your mentor/teacher, and program director's discussions at the start of the ELO.
Your reflection could consist of:
Weekly or bi-weekly written reflections
Weekly or bi-Weekly video reflections
Blogging
Journaling
Once in an ELO, the Director will add you to this semester's ELO course in Canvas where you can see more resources on accessing tools to create videos, blogs, etc.
