Services for Professionals
Sometimes even experienced professionals get stymied on what to do next, or just want a second opinion on a particular case. There are times that counselors experience exhaustion, fatigue, and feelings of disconnect. At times we have concerns about managing our practices, setting boundaries, and if we're doing the right thing for ourselves and our families.
This is all completely normal!
At times like these it's great to be able to reach out to a fellow clinician to explore what's going on. Someone who can meet you with compassion and lack of judgment. To that end, I offer professional consultation, collaboration, as well as clinical supervision to fellow counselors.
I am currently enrolled as a Ph.D. student in a CACREP approved Counselor Education & Supervision program at the University of the Cumberlands. Through this program I have been trained in theories and techniques of supervision, as well as the multicultural component of supervision.
I am in the process of obtaining my Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS) credential from The Center for Credentialing and Education/The National Board for Certified Counselors. As part of the credentialing process my supervision is supervised by other clinicians, so as to offer you the best experience possible.
I believe that supervision is an integral part of offering the best service available to clients. I believe that supervision, done well, benefits both parties. Furthermore, I believe that supervision is an ethical necessity. Because of these beliefs I provide supervision at extremely affordable rates, with regard to both the value of my time and the needs of my supervisee. Please contact me directly to discuss rates.
As I strive to keep rates low and to provide the best service to each supervisee, please be aware that I will engage with very few supervisees. Email me at firstname.lastname@example.org what you're looking for and I will see how I can best support you - even if that means referring you to another supervisor.
