7th grade seaport experience

In this unit, students learn about various factors that have contributed to increased white shark populations on the San Diego coast. They will explore actions on land that can change an ecosystem ultimately affecting populations. Students will explore various topics related to our changing oceans including populations, ocean acidification, modern data collection strategies, and ocean habitats. 

The unit is designed to include 15 lessons before a field day in the bay, and 5 more lessons after the field day
