This type of bridge is a combination of an arch bridge and a suspension bridge. Sometimes the cables are vertical, like this one, and sometimes they crisscross or are diagonal.

Covered Bridge
This bridge is in the town where my parents are from. I have been through it many times. There are many covered bridges in the mid-west and eastern part of the United States. Covered bridges are actually truss bridges. The covering was to help protect the trusses, which were made of wood.
Movable Bridge
There are actually many types of movable bridges. The Tower Bridge is one of he most famous. It is a bascule bridge with two sides lifting up. There are many very interesting movable bridges, some that swing sideways, tilt, curl, or spin.
I have also been to this park. This bridge is for people only, and bounces as you walk across.
This bridge is also in the same park s the Capilano Bridge, and is held up by cables.
This is a suspension bridge that used to hold the record as the highest bridge. It still is the highest bridge in the United States. It was built as a tourist attraction because it goes across a very deep canyon. It is only open to foot traffic.
This bridge is a combination of bridge, corridor (hallway), pavilions (Chinese-shaped buildings), and covered walkways. There are several of these type of bridges in China.
This is the longest suspension bridge for people to walk on. It is high above the Krasnaya Polyana Valley. You can also bungee jump off of it.
This is a cantilever bridge with a glass floor built for observing the view at the Grand Canyon.
