Ms. Brown worked as a medical social worker and behavioral health clinician for almost two decades before being selected as Crawford's Community Schools Coordinator. From SDSU, she earned her BA in Social Work, MA in Education, and Masters of Social Work. Her passions are mentoring young girls, working with all people, being AWESOME, and changing the world with her smile. She is the proud mother of Michael, who earned his BS in Finance from CSU Northridge and an MBA from CSU Monterey Bay. She loves the outdoors, eating food, and watching football, especially the Aztecs and Raiders.

Elena Lujan-Alba teaches English at Crawford High School. She has worked at elementary, middle schools, and high schools in for over 30 years. She has certifications in bilingual education, gifted and talented, ethnic studies, and English. She loves to work with students to improve their English and learn about how to make our world a better place. Elena Lujan-Alba, and her husband Ivan Alba, have two daughters. Isabel studies Anthropology and History at UC Davis. Lily, who graduated from Crawford in 2024, studies Psychology and Art at Cal Poly Humboldt. Elena looks forward to involving parents and the community in building a better world for our children.
