This week's assignment's idea is to build a simple electronic device that performs two actions. I decided to make a Electrical Pencil Sharpener because I remember when I was young i struggled with the use sharpener by my self and i need to sharp my pencil when i drawing

USED SOFTWARES

I used tinker cad to design and simulate the circuit and the resistor calculator to calculate the ohm of the resistor.

Design/Preparation Process

Explain the design and/or preparation process of your assignment. How did you use the tool or software to design and/or prepare your assignment before fabrication/implementation?

In this project, I used two outputs (light) in Red Led and (move) in the DC motor.
Get the power supply (5v - 2A) as the power source, I used a mini-Breadboard to be easy in hiding in the bottom of the can and the components are wired in parallel.

I used the push button as it will be more suitable for the electric sharpener than the (on/off) switch.
I chose the red led to be suitable for the color schema of the Blender and as the second output.
I used a resistor for the led, connect all together as shown in the video below.

Development/Implementation Process

Explain the development/implementation process of your assignment. How did you use the machine/tool to manufacture or implement the design of your assignment?

In the first step,

I draw construction on cardboard for the box of electric sharpeners

(square 8*8cm times 4 - rectangle 8*9cm for the front -5.5*3.5 for stand motor

3*5.5 times 2 - 5*3.5cm and 4*3.5cm for drawer

I glue the sharpener in the DC motor and connected the circuit the if it is work

Here I attched the dc motor to breadboard the crocodile's wire to attach the switch to the circuit

Then I was try the circuit and I was add the led the I cutout the small box for switch and adaptor wire before glue the box

here finally it is works

then i was start to glue constriction to build the box of electric sharpener

here I try to switch it

I had struggled with making a circuit in a parallel way then abo el naga helped me a lot and explain it to me in a simple way Thanks abo el naga

the second struggle with connecting the wire to the dc motor it was the work anti-clockwise and then I changed the wiring and then it works

the silicon glue did not stick with the sharpener coz i was supposed to wait until dry
