For the final project, we always have problems with remembering what I put my stuff so if you always lost your wallet and also your phone so I think of the smart wallet but when I described this thing to the instructor and thought about components it will be heavy and big so I changed the idea to make it handbag with the same features. so let me take u on a small journey what did u do when u lost ur, wallet, nothing I will create a smart handbag u can use as a wallet it should have Bluetooth to connect with your phone, power bank, smart lock, lighting, make action when here clap and heavy the design should be unisex.
I will be maxed between the smart wallet and handbag to fit components the features should have Bluetooth to connect with the phone, power bank, smart lock, lighting, and take action when here clap and are heavy. the power bank for charging the phone smart lock to no one opens it sound sensor for tracking.
Fusion
I use Arduino software to typing code.
Here I used fusion 360 to design and draw sketches I put the video here to explain how I was drawing the bag on fusion I was start withdrawing sides view with dimensions based on the prototype I made with cardboard then I make sure every single line was defined then I extruded it then I draw front face side then I was drawing the tab and the t slot parts then I extruded it and then I unfold the sketch from sheet metal to draw living hinge on parts needs to folded then I put the components to see how it is fit on the bag.
and this video tutorial helped me a lot
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HjXnGby1H_A
Here I was assembling electric components 2 of Mini Breadboard, Arduino, and solenoid.
First, I was trying to follow the video step by step, and then instructor Menna told me the idea behind it and I realized he was working on the small dimension and drawing it by myself I start was draw the line 8 lines in a row 26.1mm then gab 6mm and so on and then the next row drew the 6mm at the middle for the first line then the gab 6mm between lines then the gap between rows 1.60mm and so on then I use rectangle pattern to repeat it THANKS Manonaa for helping me a lot.
Then here I was thinking a lot about how can the solenoid work and my college Essam give me the idea to make a loop so the solenoid can move into that loop I was drawing a loop at the fusion as we see in this video
Then when I saw the solenoid I was thinking how can I attached it to the bag then I started to design this bracket to make it attached and here I started by elevation side and then extruded it and draw the circle for scrwo
laser work
cura
ElMalky ML1390 CO2 Laser Cutter
PRUSA i3 MK2
3D Printer
here I was exporting the file as dxf from the fusion and then importing it to RDWORK to cut it on laser cutting I was making all lines cut with a speed of 30 power 50 and the downloaded to the machine to cut it .
Then our lovely machine was cutting my lovely bag
here I printed the loop on PRUSA i3 MK2 it was took 5 minutes and 1 g
about setting
layer Hight 0.2 / infill 15 / build place skirt / no support
then I printed the bracket for the solenoid it was taken15 minutes and 2 g
about setting
layer Hight 0.2 / infill 15 / build place skirt / no support
here I collecting pic of the bodies of the bag, loop, and bracket.
Arduino nano
Mini Breadboard
LED
Jumper Wires
RFID
Buzzer
PLY wood
Resistor
realy
power bank
solenoid
I was chosen those Components coz I need them when I scan the RFID code the led opened and the buzzer make a sound and the bag opened.
then I was wiring the diagram for RFID I followed this site https://randomnerdtutorials.com/security-access-using-mfrc522-rfid-reader-with-arduino/
then I was wiring Buzzer the positive to pin 3 and the negative to the negative line on the breadboard then led positive to pin 4 and the negative to negative in the breadboard the wiring negative line breadboard to GND pin .
https://www.tinkercad.com/things/3vX1tk7B640-epic-gogo/editel
then I was wiring the solenoid to relay the left side pin IN yellow one to pin 7 and the GND black one to GND Arduino, VIN red one to 5V, and, the right side NO(normally open ) to the positive solenoid then CM to power bank (+) positive socket and the negative solenoid to (-)negative power bank (-) negative socket.
Here I was making a circuit with Arduino nano and RFID
Then I put the led in pin 4 and the buzzer on pin 3
then I tested it .
and then I put realy in pin 7 and then attached the solenoid
I used a power bank as a power source for Arduino nano and realy to powring solenoid and I was chosen the power bank coz I need bag free Handel and move without being attached to the adaptor
first I was searching for an RFID code coz I don't know how it works I downloaded the library for RFID
https://randomnerdtutorials.com/security-access-using-mfrc522-rfid-reader-with-arduino/
Third Step
then I was open the zip file
This is the library files .
second step was go to the Arduino app at include library then add zip library.
Step Four
then when u o to include library u will found the file.
then see serial print to know what is the password or the key language I defined the led, relay, buzzer, and RFID which pins I attached, and then at the void setup I defined the pins what is output and what are input and serial print what I want to see it as line
then in a void loop, I put condition here want if the RFID read the access card the led will open the buzzer make a tone and the solenoid make moving but I put the condition by the language Ardouino understands it.
I was Fit the components in the bag and then I was tasted and that is the final result
here i will show u what is look like from all views
the view from inside
the view from inside
I was wondering about how can I close and open with solenoid and then my college Essam Suggest to make this loop to work with solenoid thanks Essam to helping me a lot .
Here I was struggling with coding RFID Menna and Asmaa's instructor helped me a lot to get the written code.
and then I download RFID library from this site
https://randomnerdtutorials.com/security-access-using-mfrc522-rfid-reader-with-arduino/
and then i was struggling with including the library on the Arduino app then asmaa explained to me how can I includes it FRIST download RFID for the site i was mentioned then
go to Arduino IDE
to sketch >> then include library >>add zip library then
sketch >> include library >>RIFD
here I had a lot of trials to perfect the dimension to fit with the solenoid
I measured the thickness of the wood and the Hight of the solenoid to make it right Hight then it is fit .
and here I was struggle with the dimension for the square about the bag coz it look like prefect on fusion but not at the real .
I will but Bluetooth to connecting with Arduino and put the sound sensor too .
