-The 1st assignment's idea is about how to take an existing file from the internet and apply it in the lab to make sure that we understand the tools.
-The used file was in the format of STL files for 3D printing and DFX for laser cutting.
-It was a nice thing to make an object by your self. So i want to make a lovely objects as astronaut and a helpful and nice thing as key chin.

Download the DXF file from 3axis
Import this file to laserWork
check the wanted dimensions for the object
sit the needed speed and power values
Control the size part

First, i make the whole object scan then I select the outer line for the key chain and make it cut.
This was the simplest case for my to make this step
For the scanned key chain i set the speed of cutting the outer line as 18 and power 65 (represented by purple layer ) and the inner lines scanned with speed 300 and power 30 (as in the dark blue layer ).
For the scan cutting key chain i set the speed of cutting the outer line as 18 and power 65 (represented by purple layer ) and the inner lines scanned with speed 100 and power 65 (as in the light blue layer).

first , I download STL file from Thingiverse.
Open it with cure from file >> open .
I have changed the dimensions of the object to fit the requirements.
i have tried the tree support, it helped me to support the astronaut and also have a good surface finish.
then i have sliced it and find it will take 9g-68min
Save G-code For the next step (Fabrication process )

The Fab lab specialist advise me to make this type of support as it will support the object perfectly and will not affect the surface finish.

put the rld file in a flash memory and download it in the machine(In laserwork).
Turn on the machine and set the origin of the cutting.

2-Astrounat
Put the G-code in a flash memory(renaming it with the grams, mins and color.) and put it in the machine.
I started with clean the bed,
chose the file and begin to print.
heat it to unload the filament
Change Filament color to be satiable for the astronaut .
The printed the astronaut was 9 grams in Gary color and 62mins.
finally i remove the support easily with the tool .

The problem that i face here that i want to make the key chain with all parts cut, but after fabrication in the laser cutter i find out that the small parts have been broken the right object in the picture .
The Fab lab specialist advise me to make some edit in the rld file and make the inner details once scanning as in the meddle object and once scan cutting(which was new feature for me) as in the left object.
The two output was satisfied for me.

I have learnt how to choose the perfect file from the internet either DXF file or g-code file.
i have learnt with laser cutting objects i have to to avoid the small and nearby details to avoid the breaking.
It was a nice trial to have a challenge to make this T-rex and Scale to set printing time of 15 minutes maximum
