My Idea is to make a simple pet feeder for my cate (loly ^_^).
The pet feeder consists of ultrasonic sensor that sense the cat is close and a servo motor to control the food gate.
Tinker CAD for the simulation.
Breadboard for testing with the components.
Ultrasonic sensor.
Servo motor.
Arduino UNO.
Wires & Jumpers.
Design Steps
First I made the simulation using Tinker CAD.
I import an Arduino, Ultrasonic sensor, Servo motor.
Ultrasonic has 4 legs I attach the VCC to 5v pin on Arduino, GND leg to Arduino GND pin, Trigger leg on pin 7 & Echo leg to pin 6.
Servo has 3 legs I attach the VCC to 5v pin on Arduino, GND leg to Arduino GND pin & the Signal leg to pin 9.
I write the code that reads the distance, if the distance is 15cm or less the servo motor turn 90 degree and waits for 4 seconds & then it rotates again for 0 degrees then it waits again 3 seconds and then continue the loop.
From TinkerCAD I copied the code, then I pluged in the Arduino, open the Arduino IDE and paste the code then upload the code.

I take feedback from Amany she encouraged me to apply the idea and says it will be cool.
For good luck I have no issues working on the project.

The coolest thing is to work with geeky guys and girls It was very fun really sharing ideas and jokes xD
I will never forget the instructor that helped me when I stuck and give me some advices.
