Dr. Preble, Career Counselor

Dr. Preble is the EAHS Career Counselor and CTE Coordinator. He is a graduate of CSU, Northridge; Cal Poly, SLO; UC Santa Barbara; and Old Dominion University. In addition to counseling, "Preble." has taught a multitude of subjects at various levels, including English and AVID at EAHS.

Dr. Preble aims to help students develop their skills and identify best postsecondary options for education and training after high school. He conducts workshops; helps with college applications and financial aid; books guest speakers from colleges, business, and industry; and conducts mock interviews and career fairs.

Mr. Robinson, Work Experience Coordinator

Mr. Robinson is the EAHS Work Experience Coordinator. He is a graduate of Fresno State and Brandman University. Mr. Robinson is a certified counselor and previously served as a life coach for foster youth.

Mr. Robinson is responsible for assisting students with their Community Service and Work Permit needs (which he posts in the grade-level Google Classrooms). In addition, he works with students and teachers to find opportunities for work-based learning and career exploration at EAHS. Mr. Robinson can assist students with employment applications and resumes, as well as link students with part-time employment opportunities.

Community Service Opportunities

Mrs. Ruano, Career Center Technician

Mrs. Laura Ruano is the EAHS Career Center Technician. She assists students with their career related activities, work permits, and community service needs. She processes work permits and community service, helps EAHS students who participate in classes at the ROP Center with transportation, provides answers and guidance with regard to Career Center activities, and supports Mr. Robinson and Dr. Preble in the Career Center.
