Careers in Education

If you are interested in working in a school as a teacher or counselor or workign with children you should consider taking this class.  Students who participate will have the opportunity to work with elementary school children during the second semester. 

CAREERS IN EDUCATION: This course provides students with knowledge of career opportunities in the field of teaching and education professions. Students will be trained in career preparation through basic academic, safety, and communication skills. Students will be able to apply learned concepts through internships at local Elementary Schools. Credits: 20 (UC “G” Approved)
