Salado Family, Career and Community Leaders of America is a student lead organization that focuses on careers that support the family. FCCLA prepares students for the future. Students enhance their leadership, communication and problem solving skills. Members also have the opportunity to improve their public speaking and critical thinking skills. Members learn the importance of creating community partners and working together to reach a common goal.  We provide our members with a variety of community service opportunities throughout the year. Members can also choose to compete in our STAR Events or Texas Proficiency Events. We encourage our members to get involved!

 Our mission is to promote personal growth and leadership development through family and consumer sciences education. Focusing on the multiple roles of family member, wage earner, and community leader, members develop skills for life through character development, creative and critical thinking, interpersonal communication, practical knowledge, and career and technical preparation.
