Week 5: Monday, April 14th - 19th

I hope that everybody had a great Spring Break and a Happy Easter! It is time to get back to work. I will be adding something new to our Virtual PE starting this week called FlipGrid. There is a link below the assignment button. This is the location you will share your video. I will be sending an email to your home room teachers with the password to join. IF YOU DID NOT GET AN EMAIL FOR THE FLIPGRID PASSWORD, PLEASE EMAIL ME.

Your Assignment in 7th and 8th Grade is to:

1. Do at least 60 minutes of physical activity during the week (Check out the "Extra Resource Page" for ideas). The 60 minutes of physical activity can be done over multiple sessions, but each session must be at least 20 minutes.

Please save and print the document below to fill out this week. Then fill out document pen or pencil. If you do not have a printer, please hand write the fitness log on a piece of paper. After you complete this, you will have a parent or guardian sign it. Then you will take a picture of this document with your phone or camera and submit this file in the google form listed below.

2. Watch "Believe in You Video Series" Episode 3 (Posted Below) and complete your response in the google form.

3. Practice your Push Ups and Curl Up at least 3 times this week. Try to reach your goal. The push up and curl up goals are listed on the pictures below. Make sure you put these in your log.

4. Sign into FlipGrid. Make sure you select the correct grade level or your password will not work. The first time we use FlipGrid, I would like to hear about something you really enjoy doing at home to be physically active. If you would like to do anything else that is fun to show everybody, you can do that as well. Please have fun with this and be creative! IF YOU DID NOT GET AN EMAIL FOR THE FLIPGRID PASSWORD, PLEASE EMAIL ME.
