Friday, March 13, noon - 1PM - CHELSEA SCHNEIDER - URBAN SKETCHING - The motto for the Urban Sketching movement is "Show the world, one drawing at a time". People the globe over have connected through the images captured by urban sketchers showing place and time, but also by meeting like-minded people who want to capture and share the world they observe around them (and talk about art supplies).
Chelsea Schneider is a landscape architect in Bend Oregon who discovered urban sketching as a way to reconnect with observational drawing in spaces all over the world. She's been fortunate to sketch while traveling in Europe, New Zealand and Argentina to attend Urban Sketcher events, but also documents Central Oregon by sketch. She is excited to be a co-administrator of the newly formed Urban Sketchers Bend chapter of the international Urban Sketchers organization.
