Online is forever. Be Respectful, Be Safe, and Be Responsible - Online.
Parents usually will not receive longer documents from Technology. However, sometimes there are helpful articles or "walk through" documents that are helpful in general. I will share such documents here for you. Please, if there are topics or articles that you'd like to see here, or have to share, email me at glemoine@saeslearning.com . Sincerely, Mr. Lemoine 8.28.23
Parents.
I sent a SPAM test email out to every individual Grade 3 and Grade 4 student during the first week of October. The next week (as I post this) was designed to educate the students - after they had a chance to act on the SPAM. This was like a FIRE DRILL, just a SPAM DRILL, similar to what Aramco Staff go through every month
This is the slideshow I shared with the grade 3 students in class to teach and discuss SPAM. The goal is to create discussion. DID YOUR STUDENT TELL YOU ABOUT THIS? ASK YOU ABOUT SPAM?
There was only one parent that emailed the school inquiring whether the SPAM that I sent out was real.
Teachers were made aware of this prior to me sending it out.
This document is an introduction to email. You can print it out and go through it with your student. This is the basics using a chromebook at school. If you log into Chrome using the studnent account (ie. s12345@saeslearning.com ) then school email works the same way.
