Welcome to tech classes at DHS. All grade K, 1, 2, and 3 have tech classes this year. In fact, we are the only school that has a class for you to specifically learn about the 6C's in technology, this year.
We will be focusing especially on your Online Safety, communicating, and creating digital content. My goal as your teacher: inspire you to be as much a creator as a consumer with technology.
This is where the activity is described for the week. Do each activity before class the next week.

Week 2- Basics of the Chromebook
School CBs (Chromebooks) come in about five different versions. However, when you are logged in, they are all pretty much the same. This video introduces the (doc) shelf, putting an app on the doc, choosing Light or Dark modes, and UPDATING your chromebook.
Memorize your Password.
Update your classroom computer so it says "Your chromebook is up to date".
